Here at Rainbows Children’s Hospice, we provide specialist palliative care and end-of-life support to over 750 Babies, Children, and Young People living with life-limiting conditions and terminal illnesses, as well as approximately 3,000 people, including families, siblings, and carers, across the East Midlands. Simply put, we’re here to brighten short lives and support families, wherever they are.
We're looking for a passionate Complementary Therapist to join our team on a part-time basis, providing support across our Hospice, hospitals, and community settings. In this vital role, you’ll offer therapies such as aromatherapy, reflexology, baby massage, Indian head massage, and positive touch treatments to help care for babies, children, and young people receiving palliative and end-of-life care.
Location: Based at Rainbows Hospice with the requirement to travel within the community and to hospitals across the East Midlands, covering Lincolnshire, Northamptonshire, Nottinghamshire, Leicestershire and Derbyshire. Therefore, a driving license is required for this role.
Hours of work: This is a part-time role, working 15 hours per week, Monday and Friday. There is also a requirement to cover one weekend shift every month as part of a rota.
