Band 5 Rotational Nurse

Ready to take your nursing career to the next level in a dynamic role that blends hospice and community care?
Join Rainbows as a Band 5 Rotational Nurse and gain the variety, support, and development you’ve been looking for.

At Rainbows Children’s Hospice, we provide specialist palliative and end-of-life care to over 750 babies, children, and young people with life-limiting conditions, and support around 3,000 family members across the East Midlands. We’re here to brighten short lives and support families wherever they are.

We are recruiting a full-time Band 5 Rotational Nurse to join our Clinical Team, working across both our Hospice at Home and Hospice Care Teams on a permanent 6-month rotation.

For 6 months, you will deliver care in the community, supporting children and young people in their homes, providing short breaks and support to families. For the following 6 months, you will work within the hospice, delivering high-quality, family-led care in a specialist setting. This rotation then repeats.

This is a unique opportunity to build a wide-ranging skill set in children’s palliative care across both home and hospice environments, supported by a knowledgeable and collaborative multidisciplinary team.
